Survey and point data automatically syncs from Ecobot Collector to Ecobot Manager when mobile devices are connected to service or wifi.
In Ecobot Collector 4.1.10 and later, data from the Collector mobile app is automatically saved and visible in Manager when customers are in service.
How does it work?
- Collect data in Ecobot Collector as usual. Data can still be connected offline or in service/with wifi connection.
- If device is in service while collecting field data, the data will sync automatically as soon as the customer creates a survey or exits a point.
- If device is not in service while collecting field data, the data will sync automatically as soon as the device reaches service again.
- With autosync, data is synced automatically, but the survey is not checked in. Check In and Check Out are still required to edit Survey data; this functionality has not changed.
- Autosync will automatically begin working on all mobile devices with Ecobot Collector versions 4.1.10 and later. There is no setting that needs to be enabled.
