Apple Requirements for Ecobot

• Operating System: iOS 13 / iPadOS 13 (subject to change over time)
• Hardware: iPhone 7 or later; iPad 4th generation or later

Android Requirements for Ecobot

• Operating System:
  • Android 11 or later required (changed from Android 10 to Android 11 in April 2024)
  • Please note: Joint tablet and GNSS devices are often "stuck" in the OS they're released with. Please be mindful when considering these devices, as they cannot be updated with OS releases over time.
• Hardware
  • Testing has been completed on the following types of devices; there are, therefore, the most recommended devices for using Ecobot:
    
    • Samsung Galaxy
    • Google Pixel
  • Please note: there are over 100 Android mobile device models. Other manufacturers and models of Android device may be compatible with Ecobot, but they have not been tested and may not be compatible.

Other Devices

• Windows OS devices are not compatible or supported
• GNSS connection issues are not supported

Before you get rid of your old device, ensure all surveys are checked in.

Check in each of your surveys if you have not already done so. This way, you will be able to immediately continue editing those surveys on your new device or web browser.
