To save time, clone a Sampling Point rather than re-inputting similar data multiple times. Available in both Collector & Manager.
Clone in Ecobot Collector
1. From the Survey Page, swiping from left to right on a Sampling Point will reveal the option to Clone.
2. Select "Clone", name your new Sampling Point, and proceed to make any changes necessary to the clone.
In the Vegetation page, you can quickly delete species from the original Sampling Point that are not present at the cloned point. Swipe right-to-left on any species and select "Clear". As always, all relevant calculations are updated automatically.
Soil Lines cannot be deleted with a swipe in the same way as species of vegetation, however, you can remove cloned entries by hitting the 'x' to the right of the soil line.
You can also clone points using the ellipses to the top right of the sampling point page
Clone in Ecobot Manager
- Navigate to your Wetland survey
- To the right of the point you want to clone, click the ellipsis icon.
- Select Clone Point from the dropdown menu.
- The point will be cloned with the name "[cloned point name] (Clone)" automatically, but can be edited in the Sampling Point field.
